We know most parents today are looking toys that are not only fun but educational too! We’ve compiled a list that contain many items I can personally highly recommend, these are things that we have gifted to our kids over the years and they got some serious play time out of them. Most items on this list are not only fun but educational too. I love gifting toys that help kids be creative or gets their mind thinking! Items on this list will be good for most kids in elementary school.
LEGO – LEGOs make the best gifts for kids! My favorite sets to gift are the LEGO Creator sets because they offer 3 different build options. The LEGO Creator 3-n-1 Surfer Beach House is a great set to give! This will keep them busy for hours! My kids always got a LEGO set for Christmas or their birthday, I love putting them together with them too.

Nostalgia Retro Hard Candy Cotton Candy Maker – I don’t know any kid who wouldn’t love to make their own cotton candy! The Nostalgia Retro Hard Candy Cotton Candy Maker is such a fun machine! You use two pieces of hand candy (like Jolly Rancher or Lifesavers) and it spins it into Cotton Candy. Cotton Candy that tastes like a Jolly Rancher is amazing! This item will have to be used with adult supervision since it does get hot. My kids love this! It’s so much fun.

Perplexus – The Perplexus is a super cool puzzle game that will keep kids entertained for hours! Our family has owned several different versions of Perplexus and it’s fun for adults just as much as it is for kids. We’d always have a race to see who could complete the task the fastest.
AirFort – The AirFort is a fun option for kids, especially on cold winter days where they can’t go outside to play. This builds in seconds and kids will play for hours! It works with a standard box fan.
