Cherry Cheesecake Smoothie:

1 cup greek vanilla yogurt
3 TBSP whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 scoop protein powder
graham crackers, crushed for garnish

Start with 1/4 cup of cherries and add to a small blender (like a magic bullet). Blend until you have small cherry bits and add to the bottom of a smoothie glass.

Add the yogurt, cream cheese, ice cubes, protein powder, and remaining cherries. Blend until smooth. Add to your glass over the cheery bits.

Coconut Cream Blue Raspberry Slushy

Is it really summer without some sugar-stained blue lips? A nice, chilled slushy is essential during those hot months, and I think we can all agree that Blue Raspberry is the *best* flavor. While the “recipe” for a slushy is pretty simple and straightforward, you may not have tried adding coconut milk to your mix, and let me tell you! This makes a huge difference! It creates a slightly creamier texture and helps tone down that sometimes overpowering sweetness. You can use this to create either that classic icy slushy, or freeze them as popsicles as well!

Coconut Cream Blue Raspberry Slushy:

2 cups coconut milk
1/4 cup blue raspberry syrup
2 cups ice
whip cream, sprinkles, and raspberries, for topping

Add coconut milk, syrup and ice to blender and blend until you reach slushy consistency.

Pour into glass and select your toppings! I like to add some whip cream, raspberries, and sprinkles!

Alternatively, these make excellent popsicles! Just add blended slushy into a popsicle mold and freeze until solid. Enjoy!

This festive Cranberry Holiday Mocktail not only tastes delicious, but looks gorgeous as well! Plus, it only requires a few ingredients so it’s a simple way to impress your guests this season! (Although, that isn’t to say that you aren’t more than welcome to make yourself a glass for a private evening or a cozy night in with yourself!) What are you waiting for? Grab those fancy glasses that you’ve been saving for a special occasion and give this non-alcoholic holiday drink a try!

Cranberry Holiday Mocktail:

1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup lemon lime soda
1 TBSP of Rose’s Sweetened Lime Juice
1 stem of fresh mint
1 fresh lime slice

Garnish

Fresh cranberries, rolled in sugar
Corn syrup
Crushed peppermint candy

Start by adding fresh mint and muddling at the bottom of your glass.

Add cranberry juice, lime soda, sweetened lime juice and a squeeze of fresh juice from a lime.

To garnish the glass, grab two shallow containers. Add corn syrup to one and crushed peppermint to the other. Dip the top of your glass in the corn syrup and then into the crushed peppermint candy. Finish off with a twist of lime and sugared cranberries.

The Festive Snow Punch is a non-alcoholic drink that is loved by our entire family! It’s simple to make and fun to serve! Elevate your next holiday gathering and try the Festive Snow Punch!

Festive Snow Punch:

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
5 ripe bananas
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 liter lemon lime soda
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

Optional garnish for glass rim

1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
Corn syrup

Place fresh lemon juice, bananas and sugar in blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Add milk, once again cover and blend until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Just before serving, pour lemon & banana mixture into punch bowl, stir in soda, and top with scoops of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.

Optional: Dip rims in corn syrup, then dip in coconut. Add punch and enjoy!

Candy Corn Hot Chocolate

1 cup candy corn
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 gallon whole milk
1/8 cup water
1 cup white chocolate morsels

Topping:

Extra candy corn
Sprinkles
Chocolate curls
Whip cream

Add water and candy corn to microwave safe dish. Place in microwave for 1 minute and stir after 30 seconds. If not melted add an additional 30 seconds.

In saucepan add milk, cream, white chocolate, and melted candy corn. Stir until everything is melted and well mixed. This should take about 5 minutes. Pour into cups and top with with cream and extras.

This is a delicious and festive drink everyone can enjoy! We love this on Christmas morning because it has a combination of wonderful juices and a bit of bubbles from the ginger ale. Yum!!

Christmas Morning Punch

2 cups Orange juice
2 cups Cranberry juice
1 cup Apple juice
2 cups Ginger ale
Fresh cranberries (optional)
Sliced oranges (optional)

All ingredients should be chilled

This recipe is super simple! Pour cranberry juice, apple juice, orange juice and ginger ale in large pitcher and stir.

Place in the fridge until ready to serve.

To make it more festive, garnish with fresh cranberries and orange slices before serving.

Hot Cocoa and Treat Charcuterie Board

This is a fun platter for just about any winter gathering. It’s fun for the holidays, kids birthday party, book clubs and more. Here are some tips on how to make your charcuterie board looks as great as it tastes.

Some ideas for your cocoa/treat board:

Of course your going to start with your favorite cocoa powder (use homemade or store bought).
A few toppings that might be fun: peppermint, caramel, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts, waffle cone crumbles, and mini marshmallow. There are so many possibilities!
Add straws and stir sticks.
Cookies, pretzels, candy, and popcorn are just a few complementary snacking options. (it’s best if you pick out smaller sized items)
You can also add whip cream, chocolate and caramel for drizzle.

When laying our your board or platter I recommend starting with the largest item, in this case it’s the container of cocoa mix. Then add 3-4 small containers spaced out from one another, these containers will contain small items like sprinkles, mini chocolate chip and small candy.

Then just fill in with treats and toppings, to cover the entire board. I like to make sure to alternate different color tones to create a nice contrast on the board. Most of all have fun with it. Enjoy!< >

Dreamy Pina Colada Milkshake

Some nights we like to have a special treat and at our house that usually includes some type of ice cream. These yummy Pina Colada Milkshakes are the perfect summer treat.

Pina Colada Milkshake

2 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
8 oz pineapple chunks, with juice (save couple of the pineapple chunks for garnish)
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup Pina Colada mixer
Shredded unsweetened coconut flakes
Whip cream
maraschino cherry

In small frying pan add coconut flakes and toast until golden brown. Set aside for garnish.

In blender add ice cream, crushed pineapple chunks (with juice), coconut milk, and Pina Colada mixer. Blend until smooth. Add to glasses and top with whip cream and toasted coconut flakes.

Strawberry Peach Lemonade

There’s nothing like a refreshing glass of lemonade, except maybe some lemonade with strawberry and peach too!

Strawberry Peach Lemonade

Recipe from The Forked Spoon

1 lemon (cut into wedges)
4 peaches (ripe & sliced)
1 peach, fresh
2 cups strawberries
3 strawberries (sliced)
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
7 1/2 cup water
Mint for garnish
Ice

Add Strawberries, four sliced, ripe peaches, and 1 cup water into blender and blend until pureed. Add blended fruit into strainer and to remove seeds.

Make simple syrup, add 1/2 cup water to saucepan and add sugar. Bring to boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally and boil for 3 minutes until sugar water become syrupy. Allow to cool.

Add ice to large pitcher, add fresh lemon juice, the fruit puree, simple syrup, and fill with 6-8 cups of water. Add slices from one fresh peach and the 3 strawberries and stir well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Add fresh mint and lemon wedge for garnish. Enjoy!

Pink Tropical Punch

I am ready for summer and nothing quite says summer like a refreshing tropical drink! We like to make some fun fruity drinks, put them in fancy glasses and enjoy them in the backyard with our family. The kids absolutely love drinking out of fun glasses, they think it’s such a treat.

Pink Tropical Punch

16 oz lemon-lime carbonated soda (or diet soda)
3 TBSP Pina Colada mix
2 TBSP Grenadine
Ice cubes

For extra fun to your tropical drinks try these super cool silicone ice cube trays I picked up at amazon. They come in a set of four. I sometimes add food coloring to the ice cubes so the shapes totally stand out our drinks! My kids absolutely love them!

Add ingredients in small pitcher stir and pour into a fun summertime glass. This recipe will make two drinks.

Homemade Hot Cocoa Gift Basket

Christmas is such a fun time of year! Choosing gifts can sometimes be overwhelming, but it can be fun too! I put together a few of these Hot Cocoa Gift Baskets with my homemade hot cocoa mix and they were a ton of fun. I love giving gifts like these because the recipient can make a cup of hot cocoa, put up their feet and enjoy a Christmas movie or game night with the family.

Here are the items I included in my Hot Cocoa gift basket:

2 holiday coasters
1 mason jar of homemade cocoa mix (recipe below)
2 packs of hand dipped cookies
2 peppermint spoons
2 small container filled with cocoa toppings
paper straws
mug (or two) ~ Target has some cute holiday mugs

Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix recipe:

10 cups of powdered milk
2 cups unsweetened cocoa
1 3/4 cups non-dairy creamer powder
5 cups of powdered sugar

Add all ingredients into large bowl, stir until combined. Store in airtight container. When making a cup of hot cocoa you will add 1/3 cup of the mix to 3/4 cup hot water. You can print this tag to include in the basket with the instructions for making a cup of hot cocoa.

I added some Stroopwafels dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with toppings. You can substitute with cookies or any other treats. Here is what I used to make these:

Stroopwafels
1 package of candy melts
topping of your choice nuts, sprinkles, peppermint
cello bags and ribbon

Add small containers of sprinkles, and mini marshmallows. You can also add the toppings into plastic ornaments for a really festive look.

Add everything into a basket or crate for easy gifting. I like to add little bits of greenery and holly to really give it a festive Christmas feel.

Creamsicle Italian Soda

These Italian sodas are so much fun for the fall, the orange color makes them perfect for you halloween or fall party. I love the orange flavor in combination with vanilla. However, it can be tricky to find orange flavoring that doesn’t curdle the cream. This is a spin on and Italian soda with no chance of curdling. Yay!

Creamsicle Italian Soda (single serving)

Ice
6 oz club soda
2 oz french vanilla syrup
1/8 teaspoon orange extract
1 oz half and half
drop orange food coloring
Canned whipped cream and sprinkles

Start with a glass of ice, add vanilla syrup, extract and a drop of food coloring.

Add club soda, give it a stir. Add a splash of half and half.

Top off with whip cream and sprinkles. Enjoy!

Here is a wonderful drink for summer that includes one of my favorite fruits…pineapple. The combination of the pineapple, lime and mint is very refreshing and it’s pretty too.

1/4 cup Rose’s sweetened lime juice
2 TBSP fresh mint
1 lime sliced
1 can pineapple chunks

Pineapple Lemonade

You only need 4 simple ingredients to make this homemade lemonade with pineapple. Pineapple, lemons, brown sugar and water.

Juice the three lemons.

Cut and core pineapple. I use this handy pineapple corer/slicer from Amazon and I love how easy it makes cutting the pineapple.

Add the pineapple, lemon juice and brown sugar to a blender and liquify. Add mixture to a pitcher, add ice and water and enjoy!

It’s the time of year for celebrations! Our family loves to ring in the new year and we like to come up with drink ideas that are fun and festive and free from alcohol. Fancy drinks make an event more festive, and these mocktails will be festive and fun for kids and adults.

Cotton Candy Bubbly:

1 chilled can of Perrier
champagne flute full of cotton candy

This drink is so much fun! Kids will love watching the drink turn into the color of the cotton candy. You simply fill a glass with cotton candy and then pour in the Perrier. The cotton candy changes the clear liquid to pretty color and sweetens up the Perrier.

Rockin’ party drink:

1 can ginger ale
1 stick of rock candy

The rock candy comes in lots of colors so kids can pick there favorite. This is a big hit at our house, it’s fun to watch the rock candy fix and dissolve. It’s so delish! These also make a fun display for a party table.

Cran-Raspberry Lime Seltzer

1 cup soda water,
fresh lime,
splash of cran-rasberry juice.

This is a great drink that is refreshing and festive but with out the calories. No guilt with this drink, now that a reason to celebrate. Serve over ice.

Chocolate Egg Nog Martini

1/8 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
1/8 cup sugar
1/8 cup egg nog
1 3/4 cup milk
Hershey’s chocolate syrup for garnish

In sauce pan, add milk, chocolate chips and sugar. Cook until chocolate chips and sugar are dissolved. Remove from heat add egg nog and chill for couple hours. In martini glass drizzle Hershey’s syrup over the bottom of the glass. then pour chocolate egg nog in glass. Serve and enjoy!
