Is it really summer without some sugar-stained blue lips? A nice, chilled slushy is essential during those hot months, and I think we can all agree that Blue Raspberry is the *best* flavor. While the “recipe” for a slushy is pretty simple and straightforward, you may not have tried adding coconut milk to your mix, and let me tell you! This makes a huge difference! It creates a slightly creamier texture and helps tone down that sometimes overpowering sweetness. You can use this to create either that classic icy slushy, or freeze them as popsicles as well!
Coconut Cream Blue Raspberry Slushy:
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1/4 cup blue raspberry syrup
- 2 cups ice
- whip cream, sprinkles, and raspberries, for topping
Add coconut milk, syrup and ice to blender and blend until you reach slushy consistency.
Pour into glass and select your toppings! I like to add some whip cream, raspberries, and sprinkles!
Alternatively, these make excellent popsicles! Just add blended slushy into a popsicle mold and freeze until solid. Enjoy!
