I went out on limb and tried something new. Where we live in the mountains of Virginia, it is just plain cold here, so soup is the perfect think. So I tried a new recipe for Cheeseburger soup. Oh, my it is so good and has so many veggies in it. I will definately be making this one again. Sure hope I win this.

One of my favorite “go to meals” is turkey tacos! I sauté the meat with onions and bell peppers, then add my own homemade taco seasoning…thus no MSG! I love to make a lot of meat for the tacos then use the left over meat to make taco soup (throw hominy, corn, black beans, diced tomatoes and green chilies, extra seasoning, and water or beef broth in the crock pot), nachos, or even quesadillas! It’s a great way to morph a meal! If I’m really feeling ambitious, I will use all the left overs and make an enchilada casserole and throw it in the freezer for a “rainy-day” meal! I just layer all the ingredients from our taco meal, including the rice, with corn tortillas and top with a red and green MSG free enchilada sauce! Some of my kids like the red and some like green, so I just do half and half! I hope you enjoy trying it out! 🙂 God Bless!
