Chocolate Peanut Butter Marble Cookie:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Mix together and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Gradually add in the dry ingredients, mixing until combined.
Scoop dough and place on a small cookie sheet, then add a dollop of peanut butter over the chocolate dough. With a skewer, gently swirl the peanut butter into the dough to create a marbled pattern. Do not over mix.
Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350. Add chilled dough to a lined baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set but still soft.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring onto cooking rack. Enjoy!
