Craving a cool, creamy treat that’s also good for you? These homemade frozen peanut butter yogurt bars are the perfect answer! Imagine a delightful blend of creamy peanut butter and tangy yogurt, transformed into a refreshing frozen treat. Beat the heat with these addictive frozen peanut butter yogurt bars. They’re healthier than your favorite store-bought ice cream bar, but just as delicious!
Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Bars:
- 3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy or chunky
- 1 1/2 cup greek plain yogurt
- 2 TBSP protein powder
- 2 TBSP mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Coating:
1 cup Dipping Chocolate (I prefer Ghirardelli’s)
Combine all filling ingredients, and mix until combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop filling into four circles.
Add a popsicle stick and cover with more filling, make sure each popsicle stick is completely covered.
Freeze for 2 hours. Melt dipping chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between.
Once melted and completely smooth, dip yogurt bar to completely cover with chocolate, tap on side of bowl to remove excess chocolate, and place back on parchment paper.Allow to set. (about 5 minutes) Enjoy! If saving for later, store in an airtight container in freezer. Allow to thaw before eating, or simply microwave for 10 seconds.
