Lemon Angel Food Cake:
- 2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
- 2 TBSP half and half
- 1 cup water
- 1 box angel food cake mix
Glaze:
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 TBSP lemon juice
- Water, for desired consistency
Preheat the oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, add lemon juice, half and half, and water. Gradually add in the angel food cake mix. Beat the cake mix for 60 seconds with electric mixer.
Pour the batter into an uncreased angel food cake pan. Bake 45 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Allow the cake to cool upside down in the pan. When the cake reaches room temperature, run a metal spatula along the edges of pan to remove the cake.
In a small mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, lemon juice, milk or and as much water as is needed to reach your desired consistency.
