I’m sharing my kitchen inspiration as part of a sponsored post for Olympic Paints Stains and The Motherhood. #Bringonthecolor
We moved into our home about 7 years ago and we were happy with the paint colors that were on the walls, but now that they are in need of touching up we are having fun choosing colors that are more “us”.  We are gradually working on each room in our home to reflect our tastes and I am loving every minute of it (well, I’m not in love with the actual process of prepping to paint), but I enjoy paining and the final end results.  A new paint color really can change the look and feel of a room. I shared with you my Laundry Room Makeover that I completed this summer and I still love looking at it every time I walk in there.  I adore the pretty Blue Lullaby color that I found at the Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center exclusively at Lowe’s.   I still plan to paint the cabinets white and add a sign above our organizational wall, once those are done the room will be totally complete.

I am super excited because we have been saving money the last few years so we could add a new family room and redo our kitchen.  The flow in our kitchen is not the best and it’s on the small side for our large family of seven.  We have saved enough that we can finally tackle the kitchen project next year and I am so very excited!!  We will be blogging about the process and I may need your thoughts and suggestions along the way.  I want to make this a great looking and functional kitchen!
Part of the fun has been scouring Pinterest for kitchen ideas. Â Olympic has a great Pinterest page with lots of inspiration for any project you have in mind. Â We plan on going with white cabinets so the kitchen is light and bright. Â I love all shades of blue and green, so I’m pretty sure we will go that route when it come to paint and accents. Â I also love the look of silver against the white cabinets and light blue walls. Â I’m am seriously giddy about the whole project!
Do you have a room in your home you want to paint?  No matter what color you have in mind from light pastels to dark accent notes, the Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center exclusively at Lowe’s has the right shade for everyone.

When we moved into our home, the entire house had original flat white paint and we have children. Yikes! We have been slowly putting our personal touches on the walls but it takes so much time to prep and the paint and products add up. Our house is all about the “country” look and some day we’ll have every room painted. This would certainly help!! My next room to paint is our Family Room and I’m looking at something in a putty color or a nice shade of green. The color that caught my eye was Pumpkin Patch for my laundry room!!
