Week One Results – $60 Budget

Here is everything I got for week one of my $60 a week grocery challenge. I spent a total of $59.84, you can’t get much closer than that. The first week will probably be the easiest, because there really wasn’t too much that I needed, except for milk, bread & fruit. I already had enough veggies from last week, and we have a stockpile of some of the other things already. So, I just concentrated on the few necessities and items that were a great deal.

**They had a coupon for $2.00 off dip or salsa when you buy 2 bags of frito-lay. Some frito-lay items are on sale for $1.00**

1 14 lb turkey – FREE turkey coupon
2 lbs ground beef
2 lbs chicken
1 pkg bacon
1 pkg sliced cheese
4 pkg bagels
4 cans olives
3 bottles BBQ sauce
1 pkg butter
7 pkgs hot pockets
24 pkg bottled water
