You have to check out the play by play of Holly’s trip from FreePlay Kids. This was Holly’s first time shopping the 70% off clearance sale, and she did such a great job.
She learned a few tips and tricks during the webcast I participated in with Angela over at The Coupon Project.
After you are finished reading about her Target trip, make sure you check out her blog for FREE family events here in the Northwest. Plus, there are also a few that aren’t quite FREE, but they are “Less than a Latte”. I am all about frugal family fun!
You have to check out all of the great things reader Becky found! She scored some Razor electric scooters at 50% off and the Razor Rip Rider was 70% off. I have to admit I am slightly jealous! Did anybody else see Razor items on clearance at their store.

The Redmond Target had 1 razor (in the 30%-50% off section) on Thurs night when I went to the store. I wasn’t interested in it, so I didn’t look at the price… sorry I can’t be of more help than that. Good luck!
Sunrise Target had a bunch of scooter stuff (some Razor) but it wasn’t in with the toys it was two isles or so down with the scooter section. Incidentaly I did find some toys hidden away over there but nothing too fabulous, the coast offs people changed their minds on mostly.
Christy,
I had so much fun shopping this sale! Thanks again for doing the webcast and sharing all of your great tips! I am looking forward to saving even more money this year!
All the best,
Holly
P.S. Hopefully I can return the favor and save your family some money on outings and entertainment too! 😉
Christy,
The price for my Lego Ninjago was regularly $119.99 and I paid $59.98. Also the R/C F350 was regulary $69.99 and I paid $20.98.
Becky
If your interested northgate target still had 6 of the Disney princess kitchens late last night (I’ve read somewhere ppl were looking for them)
last week I scored a Razor go cart, regular 289, for 85! Also a set of kids golf clubs 70 off and a Razor pogo stick…score! Perfect for my son’s bday next week!
@Becky Oops! I will fix those prices.
Wow! Star Wars Lego! What a find!
Thanks for introducing me to Holly.
I often have folks ask me about Seattle area blogs.
I’m glad to know about it.
I actually didn’t pick up a thing at Target, but I noticed that almost the Entire kids’ shoe section was at 30% clearance, so I think at least some will make it to 70.
My Target FINALLY did there markdown this morning, I was debating whether or not to go after I dropped son off at school! Almost didn’t go but something told me if I didn’t I’d regret it. So glad I did, because I was the ONLY one there, got first pick of everything, yea!! Only problem was that I only had $25 on me, still got alot of smaller toys I wanted and went back a few hours later to get a couple of the bigger things. I paid about $40 for a ton of goodies for kids bdays, Bday goodie bags and a decent start on Xmas this year for daughter!
