Pull-Apart Cheesy Garlic Biscuit:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cold, grated butter
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 5 cheese sticks, cut into 1/3″ pieces
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 TBSP sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, salt, and sugar. Mix together. Add in the cold, grated butter and work into the flour mixture with pastry cutter. It will resemble a course crumble mixture.
Add in the egg and gradually add milk, working it in with spatula or wooden spoon. Careful not to overwork.
Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, minced garlic, cheese and dresh parsley. Work into the biscuit mixture scoop the dough into a muffin pan.
Bake for 12-15 minutes at 425. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove from the muffin pan and serve warm. Enjoy!
