These golden-brown beauties are an absolute game-changer, whether you’re serving them alongside a hearty soup, stuffing them with your favorite deli meats, or just enjoying them warm with a smear of butter. Pretzel Rolls:
- 1 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 /12 cups flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- sea salt, to sprinkle on top of rolls
For the baking soda bath:
Add yeast and warm water together. Allow to sit for 1 minute.
Add the flour, sugar, and salt to a mixing bowl. On a low setting, with the dough hook attachment, mix together. Add 3 TBSP melted butter and yeast water. Mix until the dough pulls away from the side of the mixing bowl and the dough is no longer sticky.
Sprinkle your surface with flour as needed. Knead the dough for 8 minutes, or until dough can be stretched without breaking. Return to the bowl and cover. Let sit for 1 hour. (It should double in size.) After 1 hour, punch dough with your fist. 
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Set aside and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Boil water with baking soda. Add each roll, 2 at a time, and boil for 30 seconds. Then, flip them over and boil for another 30 seconds. Remove from the pot and place on a prepared baking sheet. Brush with butter and sprinkle with corse salt. Bake for 22 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from oven serve warm or cooled enjoy!
