This is one of my favorite appetizers to serve at getogethers. It’s perfect for big football parties too. The flavors in this are great, I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t loved this appetizer. Best part, it’s super quick and easy and to make. It’s perfect served with crackers and apples.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Brie
- 1 package with Crescent rolls
- 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/3 Cup Cranberries
- 1/3 Cup Walnuts
- 1 Egg
Open package of crescent rolls and set aside 5 crescent roll triangles. Use the remaining crescent rolls to cover the bottom of brie.
In sauce pan, add butter, brown sugar, cranberries, and walnuts and heat until the cranberries and nut are coated with the butter and sugar.
Add candied nuts and cranberries to top of brie.
Use the 5 triangles starting from the bottom and wrap over the top of the brie so the cheese is completely covered.
When finished brush with egg white so your crust will have a nice golden brown finish when baked.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cut and serve with apples and crackers. Enjoy!
