I had the opportunity to try out the Kodiak Cakes Frontier Flapjack and Waffle Mix. These mixes are made with whole grains and all natural ingredients. You can find these and other Kodiak Cakes products online at KodiakCakes.com or at your favorite retailer. I spotted them at Target, so I know they are at MY favorite retailer.
Mixing the pancake batter is super easy, you just add water and mix. Before you know if you have a nice stack of fluffy, delicious pancakes. The mix can also be used to make waffles, which we also did but they were eaten before I could take a photo of them. Â It’s nice that you can control the consistency of your batter by adding more or less water.
I love that these mixes are all natural and made with 100% whole grain. Â You won’t find any added fat, cholesterol or sugar (who needs that?)
My family absolutely loved these pancakes and waffles, the variety we tried was made with buttermilk and honey and it gave it a great flavor.
Giveaway: Three lucky Thrifty and Thriving readers are each going to win a coupon so they can pick up their own box of Kodiak Cakes Frontier Flapjack and Waffle Mix.
How to enter: Just leave a comment on this post letting me know what you like to put on top of your pancakes or waffles (syrup, powdered sugar, peanut butter, fruit, etc)
Giveaway will end on Wednesday, August 14th at noon PST.
I was provided with some Baker Mills Kodiak Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix to facilitate my review, no other compensation was given. Unless you count the apron, but I am sure they just sent that because they know I am a messy baker.
