The weekend is almost here, and it’s a great time to rent a movie! We have cut the cost of movies rentals out of our montly budget, and here are 2 reasons why.
1. The library – I know I have mentioned this before, but it is worth mentioning it again. You can get movies for free from your library. You can even get the new releases. We put movies on hold online, we get an email when they come in, and we go pick them up. I see what movies are coming out in the future & put them on hold before they are released, so we are one of the first people to get the movie.
2. Redbox – Are you familiar with the Redbox movie rental kiosks? If not, you can check it out here: https://www.redbox.com/. You can rent movies from the kiosks for $1 a day. If you return a movie by 9:00 PM the next day, you will only pay $1 for the rental. Where we live the kiosks are at our Albertson’s and Walmart stores. The even better part, is they have discount codes, so you can get a movie for FREE. One dollar is cheap, but FREE is even better. You can check for current codes here: https://www.insideredbox.com/codes/. When you go to the kiosk, hit the “rent with a promo code” button, enter the code & your movie is free (for the first night, you will pay $1 for each additional night). You can also go to the redbox website, put a movie on hold & pick it up at one of the kiosks. Very cool!
