Happy day!! We finally have the news so many of us have been waiting for…Disneyland will be opening to out of state guests starting June 15th!! Visiting the parks looks a little different than it used to, so I”m going to walk you through all the steps to help you secure your tickets and your park reservation! To visit the parks this year, a ticket isn’t enough, you have to buy a Disneyland ticket and then make a reservation for the days you want to visit the parks. You will also need to choose which park you plan to visit for the day, either Disneyland or California Adventure. Park hopping looks a little different right now too! If you purchase Park Hoppers you will make a reservation for your starting park and then at 1pm or later you can hop over to the other park as long as they aren’t at maximum capacity.
I’m all about saving money where every I can, and when it comes to saving on my Disneyland vacations and my favorite place to purchase Disneyland park tickets and vacation packages is through Get Away Today. Their prices can’t be beat!! Head on over to Get Away Today and select the dates you want to visit and they will give you a quote on what the cost would be with several different hotel options. You will first want to make sure that there are reservations available for the dates you plan on visiting before purchasing your tickets and hotel.
Once you’ve purchased your Disneyland tickets and or hotel package they will send you an email with your Disneyland ticket numbers. You will use those number to enter on the Disneyland website. Tip! You can save an additional $10 on your package when you book a 2-night or longer stay and use the code THRIVING10 at checkout.
You must make a park reservation for each day of entry prior to visiting Disneyland. I highly recommend making your park reservation as soon as your travel dates become available. Theme park reservations can now be made up to 120 days in advance. Here’s how to secure your reservation once you have your tickets.
- Go to StartYourDisneylandExperience.
com - Sign In or Create a Disney Account.
- Create your Party by linking your tickets
- Select the Day and Theme Park you’d Like to Visit
- Review and Confirm Your Visit
We have our trip planned and booked for September! I can’t wait! I’m excited that we will also be trying a different hotel that we’ve never used before! We’ll be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Theme Park Entrance. Here are a few things worth mentioning about the Disneyland Resort this year:
Avenger’s Campus – The all-new land at California Adventure will be opening June 4th. One of the highlights is the new attraction, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
State of California Guidelines – The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative test prior to entering the theme parks. As always, our procedures may change as we continue to update our health and safety processes based on guidance from the state of California and local health officials.
Disney hotels – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has begun a phased reopening. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will plan to reopen on June 15, 2021 with reduced capacity. The Disneyland Hotel will plan to reopen on July 2, 2021.
Limited Capacity & Availability – Certain parks, hotels, restaurants, attractions, experiences and other offerings are modified or unavailable, will have limited capacity and are subject to limited availability or even closure, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.
