We crossed something off our Disney bucket list! We finally attended the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival last year. It was completely magical! The EPCOT International Flower & Garden festival starts in the spring and includes bright blooming gardens, fresh flavors, lively entertainment and more. This year the festival runs from March 1 – July 5, 2023. There is no extra fee to attend the Flower & Garden Festival, it is included with.your regular admission to EPCOT.
Here is a peek at what you can expect at the Flower & Garden Festival. All throughout EPCOT you will see gorgeous gardens and living sculptures of some of your favorite Disney characters.
Similar to the Food & Wine festival you will find outdoor booths with yummy food dishes, desserts and drinks. Here is a peek at just a few of the yummy food and drink choices we sampled. You can view see all the food options that are available this year in the 2023 Epcot Flower & Garden Foodie Guide. I highly recommend checking out the foodie guide before you go and making a list of some of the things you want to try. You can also pickup a handy festival guide when you get there. Here are a few things we sampled when we attended previously:
Violet Lemonade (non-alcoholic)
Strawberry Mousse with chocolate-crisp pearls
Tostada de Cochinita
In addition to all the fun food options, there are so many pretty floral and topiary displays to enjoy. This was one of my favorite parts about the festival, it was so colorful and beautiful.
Beauty and the Beast
Lady and the Tramp
Kermit the Frog
You can also enjoy concerts that take place at the American Gardens Theater with their Garden Rocks Concert Series, again this is included in your admission to Epcot. They do offer Garden Rocks dining packages to guarantee you get a seat for the show. You can check out the 2023 Garden Rocks line up to see a complete list of all the shows and dates. There are performances by Daughtry, Smash Mouth, Jo Dee Messina, Casting Crowns and more.
I highly recommend a visit to the EPCOT International Flower & Garden festival. if you want to book a Disney World or Disneyland vacation I suggest booking through my friends at Get Away Today, their service is top notch and their prices can’t be beat.
We recently stayed at the Riviera Resort which has super easy access to EPCOT via the Disney Skyliner. Other hotels that offer Skyliner service are Disney’s Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation and Pop Century resorts. Watch for my review on the Riviera Resort coming soon (hint: we LOVED it).
