Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 TBSP milk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup chocolate chip
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
- coarse salt, for garnish (optional)
In a mixing bowl, stir together cream, butter, and sugar. Mix together on medium to high speed until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add egg, vanilla and milk and mix until just combined. In a separate bowl, add flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Then gradually add to the cookie batter. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Refrigerate the dough for 3 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out the dough and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, remove from oven add chocolate chips and nuts on top, if desired. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Then, transfer to cooling rack.
Sprinkle with coarse sale if desired & Enjoy!
