If you’re trying to decide what to make for dinner and can’t choose between tacos or burgers, I have some good news for you: you don’t have to pick just one! This recipe is a blend of two of my favorite comfort meals and is so easy to make! Simply gather your favorite burger ingredients, a good 5-inch tortilla, and you’re good to go! Give it a try for your next weekday meal!
Big Mac Smash Tacos:
- 1lb ground beef
- 1-2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 5 slices of cheese
- lettuce
- tomato
- pickles
- onions
- 5-inch tortillas
- mayonnaise
- sriracha
- lime juice
To make the Sriracha Aioli, add 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 TBSP sriracha and 1/2 TBSP lime juice. Mix together and set aside.
Divide the ground beef into five separate portions and add a splash of Worcestershire sauce on each portion.
Take a flour tortilla and one portion of ground beef and press the meat onto the tortilla, working out to the edge of the tortilla.
Add a bit of seasoning salt over the patty, repeat for each, and set aside. Heat up a pan on med-high heat, add a touch of olive oil, and place the tortilla meat side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Flip over, add your cheese of choice and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook until the cheese melts and remove heat. Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. Add sauce and enjoy!
