Whipped Ricotta with Honey and Lemon

This Whipped Ricotta with Honey and Lemon makes a great dipping sauce for a fresh baguette and more.


  • 16 oz whole milk ricotta
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 TBSP fresh cilantro
  • 4 TBSP honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 TBSP olive oil
  • baguette or crackers


  1. In a mixing bowl, add ricotta and beat with an electric beater using the whisk attachment for 2 minutes, or until smooth and creamy
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and set aside
  3. In separate small mixing bowl, stir together the herbs, lemon zest, olive oil, honey, and sea salt.
  4. Pour the herb and honey mixture on top of the whipped ricotta
  5. Top with fresh ground pepper to taste
  6. Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers
