Hello, welcome to Thrifty and Thriving (formerly known as The Bargain Jargon). I am so glad you are here! I hope you find the new site cleaner and easier to manage. I am still working on a few of the features like this list of stores, but everything should be in place shortly. I love how it turned out, Lauren from Restored 316 Designs did an amazing job!
If you were a subscriber of The Bargain Jargon, you should start receiving the emails from Thrifty and Thriving in a couple of days. If you were following me on Facebook, you will need to become a new fan of Thrifty and Thriving, you can do this by clicking the Facebook link at the top of the page. Becoming a fan on Facebook is a great way to get the news on the latest coupons and deals right away.
I have lots of fun things planned for the new site. I will continue to focus on coupons, store match-ups, deals and frugal tips, but I also want to share thrifty recipes, our gardening adventure, and lots more thrifty ideas. We even have plans to make some rain barrels. Our goal is to become more self sufficient.
I have a BIG giveaway planned for next week to celebrate all of my wonderful readers and my brand new site I will be giving away and iPod Touch!! I am so excited! Make sure you check in the week of March 21, for all the details.
If you have The Bargain Jargon on your blog roll, don’t forget to change it to the new name and link of Thrifty and Thriving. You can add the new button to your site too.

Please let me know if there are any features you would like to see here at Thrifty and Thriving.

Hello!
I am new to you completely! I am thinking about taking the plunge from Blogger to WordPress. Any recommendations you can give? I do love your site, and love this font! 🙂
Kristina
Love the new site, Christy!!! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. I look forward to the thrifty recipes!
The green lettering for the sites to go to (click “here”) are too fant to read and hard on the eyes. I love your site and visit almost every day. I’m excited about the new articles and recipes, but PLEASE make the color a little bolder.
Hello there, I just wanted to ask if you ever have had any problems with hackers?
My last wordpress blog at https://www.thriftyandthriving.
com/2010/03/welcome-to-my-new-site/ was hacked and I wound up losing months of hard
work due to no backup. Do you have any solutions to stop
I’m glad that I found your site %target_domain% and was able to read this article. I understand this is off topic however I’m looking into starting up my personal weblog and have been curious as to
what all is necessary to get established? I take it maintaining a blog like yours is
a bit expensive? I’m not particularly a pro about website development so I’m not quite sure what to do.
I’d really like to hear any thoughts, advice, or thoughts on the matter. Thanks in advance Oh yeah, is your layout custom designed or did you download it from someplace? With a theme like the one you have, my blog could really stand out more. Please let me know the place where you found your layout.
