There is a good chance that the final Valentine’s items will be marked down to 90% off today. There may not be much left, but if you find some great deals be sure to share them with us. I am guessing the bagged candy will probably stay at 70% off.
These are the items I was able to pick up last year at 90% off.
I was able to use those Valentine’s Lip Smacker just last week to put little prizes together for a party that my daughter and her friend were hosting. I scored the socks in the dollar section for only $ .30 each when the purple dot items were 70% offlast week.
I took a pair of socks and one of the Lip Smackers, put them in a cello bag and tied if off with a ribbon. Super quick and easy (and cheap too!).
We ended up with 8 little sock/lip gloss gift bags. I think they turned out cute, and because I shopped ahead and shopped the clearance each little gift only cost me $ .40 each!!

Keizer Target had 90% today – I got $70 worth of giftbags, tissue paper, and wrapping paper for $7

16 giant hershey kisses for $.34/each. Will be using them for favors at a party I’m hosting (original: $3.49 each)
30 bags of red and pink V-day candy for my daughter’s bday treats table ($.10 each, original $1.00 each)
Adorable heart shaped plates ($.29/each, original $2.99)
Also got the Welch’s Natural Spread for $.19/each (bought 2, $1.69 original), two boxes of the 24 up&up ibruprofen ($.97 original), and a box of the Market Pantry fruit snacks for $.45 (on sale this week for $1.70)! Thank you sooo much for all your help and guidance. 🙂
I found candy at 70% (sweet tart jelly beans -purple/pink) twizzlers and some red candy “cherry” gummy hearts that I’ll use in Easter eggs or in dd’s birthday party bags.
I found cute cupcake gel and reg. window clings that I’ll use for dd’s party too. ALong with the solid red tableclothes and cupcake papers that I found at 90% ;).
One biggie for me was that monkey “valentine’s” card holder box. I am hosting a baby shower for my sister and she is doing a monkey themed nursery.
Both of my stores had tons of those women’s slipper socks- I picked up a pair for the teacher’s next year, both grandma’s and gg and the aunts. I restocked dd’s socks and tights as well- can’t go wrong at 90%
I didn’t happen across any misplaces treasures (ie. someone’s hidden stashes) but I did find that Smurf book I had seached everywhere for –I would have bought it at 50% if I had been able to find it-so getting it for 90% made my day 😉
