Since there is a slim chance some Target’s may go 75% off this week – let’s talk the Target toy clearance! Maybe I should say let’s STALK the Target toy clearance. LOL! Make sure you check in tomorrow morning either here or on Facebook, I am sure we will have people posting if they find anything 75% off at their stores or not. I will do my best to keep you informed!!
Couple of important notes:
- If you have a store that is currently remodeling (adding the fresh food), they may mark the clearance sooner than other stores. I had this happen in Janurary. The Issaquah store was in the middle of a remodel and they marked their items down a week before everyone else.
- I cannot stress this enough! Don’t just go by what the clearance signs say, scan the items! They may have changed the prices on the items, but haven’t had the opportunity to change out the signs. If you just take a quick look at the signs and leave, you may be missing out.
- Make a list of people you need to buy for and stick to a budget. When you see super low prices, it’s so easy to get carried away (not that I speak from experience or anything like that :)) I have such a hard time turning down a clearance Lego. I love them!!
- The toy section isn’t just for kids, you can find games that would make great family gifts too.
- If you are buying for future birthday gifts, I would tend to stay away from themed items (unless they are classics like Sesame Street, Star Wars, etc). I unfortunately, have a couple of High School Musical items that never got used, and now nobody really cares about High School Musical.
- Have fun! I mostly find the atmosphere at my Target to be upbeat and fun. People are more than willing to help one another find certain items and what not.
- If you don’t get anything this time around, either because you can’t make it or you can’t afford it, don’t worry! This sale will come around again.
