I had so much fun when I stopped by Target today, I kept finding 75% off items around almost every corner. Here are the items I picked up today, all of these were 75% off. I spent $9.93 (before tax) and saved just over $40. I was able to use a $3/1 Xhiliration coupon (no longer available) on the flip flops, so they were only $ .24.
Here is what I picked up:
- Kickboard $1.24 (reg 4.99)
- American Girl Scrapbook Jewelry book $2.24 (reg $8.96)
- American Girl Tear this book up $2.23 (reg $8.95)
- Cars Word Search $ .54 (reg $2.19)
- Flip Flop $3.24 (reg $12.99)
- Swim Goggles $3.98 (reg $15.99)
I found so many great clearance deals at Target today, so this is going to be a long post. All of these items were found at the Bonney Lake, WA Target.
Flip Flops were 75% off. If you still have the Xhiliration $3/1 coupon you can pick up some of these for FREE or cheap, I saw several priced at $1.98 and $3.24.
There was a lot of exercise equipment at 75% off.
In the exercise equipment there were several water bottles at 75% off. These would be great for back to school.
Pools were 75% off. This pool was $44.98, regularly $199.99.
All pool care items were 75% off even though the sign only said 30% off.
Even more pool items at 75% off. Some of these were 30% off, but there were a lot of pool toys and goggles at 75% off.
Little Kids Transformers bike was 75% off, there were several at Bonney Lake. Would make a great Christmas gift!
I found several nice books at 75% off.
These activity cards were also 75% off. These would make great stocking stuffers, priced at $2.48 (reg $9.99)
They even have Hooked on Phonics sets that are 75% off. These are selling for $7.48, regularly $29.99.
There were some cute purses at 75% off (sorry for the blurry photo).
I saw 3 full racks of women’s clothing at 75% off.
There was also a rack in the girls department that was 75% off. There were some denim shorts for only $1.98. There are Target printable coupons for Circo and denim items, that you can use for even bigger savings.
Weber grills were down to $49.98, so they were 50% off. I picked one up last year at 75% off, so keep an eye on these to go lower.
I mentioned Monday that there is a lot of clearance in the Home department, and there was an entire row of towels marked down to 30% off. Keep an eye on these, they will go lower.
Bonney Lake had tons of outdoor equipment at 30% off. I am thinking they will be putting out the Halloween items soon, so they should be marking these down soon.
Lastly, I found a TON of jewelry marked down to 30% off.
Remember that clearance prices and selection will vary by store, so you may not find the exact same items at your store. Have fun shopping, and let me know what clearance deals you find at your store and you could win a $20 Target gift card.

I totally drool every time I see the quantity of stuff in your clearance sections of your stores! That’s one downfall of living in UT where there is a higher % of couponers — that stuff just stick around long! However I did snag some cheap eye shadow and clearance jeans today so I didn’t go out empty handed! Spent just over $2 instead of $25ish so gotta love it!
Agree with “The Mom @ Babes in Hairland”… Our Target stores here in Utah do not seem to have as good of clearance as yours.
How was the clearance at the Kent wa store, anyone been? Would love to pu a kickboard on clearance!
I actually used to live in Utah several years ago. I am sure things have changed since I have been there, but I used to have good luck shopping at the Target in Sandy and the one in Fort Union.
@Angela I may stop by the Kent store tomorrow, there are a few school supplies we still need. I will let you know what I find if I do.
Oh my goodness I went to target today and WAS SO HAPPY when I left. I got the 4 febreeze noticeables, 1 febreeze set and refresh, 7 cascade (4 packs), and 2- BIG 29.2 oz Pantenes. I had to pay $.30 out of pocket for the first purchase and then paid for the second purchase with the $5 gift card I got for buying the 5 febreeze products and still have $2.53 left on the gift card!!!!!
Today I found Mott’s strawberry applesauce on clearance for $.83. I used the $2/2 coupon from the safeway MS coupon book. I bought 6 and used 2 coupons and I only paid $.98 for six six packs of applesauce. I almost did a happy dance right there in the isle.
Nice find Beth! I would have been excited too.
Christy…nice job…have a question: Do you ever see their white wooden toddler bed ever go on sale? We are going to be in the need soon and I am curious… I was looking through a store today and saw the bedding on clrx, but not the bed itself. I may resort to Craigs List…
@Heather I can’t say that I have ever seen the toddler beds go on clearance, but honestly I have never looked for one. We skipped the toddler beds and went straight to a regular bed. I am sure everything has to be cleared out sooner or later though.
The furniture usually sticks around a lot longer than most of the other departments. The furniture stays the same with the seasons, so they don’t have a need to bring in new colors. White always works!
I am thinking Craigs List or a Yard Sale may be your best bet. Good luck!
at target arent you allowed to use a manufacturers coupon and a target coupon? is there a number of coupons you are allowed to use total for different things in one transaction?
The best deal I found yesterday was 4T & 5T swim suit shorts for my son to grow into. The 4T were $2.00 usually $8.00 and the 5T were $1.98 usually $9.50
Thanks for the heads-up on the kids bikes! The transformer ones were still full price at my stores, but I was able to score my daughter a 12″ Barbie bike for $16.24!
Christy, Thanks for the follow up on the toddler bed…and its upcoming usage/need is a topic for discussion around here too. Hope I am not too personal to ask, but what age did you transition to a “big” bed? And did you move your child(ren) to a regular twin or a full? We were just talking last night about moving her into a full size directly, and skipping the twin thing all together, but we aren’t sure…she is only 2.5 right now! 😉
@Heather – the white Circo toddler beds DO go on clearance! I purchased one 50% off last year around Sept I believe. Orig $79, got it for $35. Our daughter was about 22 months old then and it worked well for a while however she’s now 2.8 yrs and very tall/robust for her age and out growing it already. We just set up a twin bed for her this week infact because she claimed she needed a “big bed” and didnt seem comfortable in the toddler size. Being that your little one is 2.5 you may reconsider and go for a twin or full…the popular storage beds or platform beds are low making them ideal for little kiddos. We would do the full but her bedroom is quite small right now. I hope this helps!
You are so awesome! I found those same 3 books you posted at my Target here in Nevada for 75% off! They will be perfect for our Labor Day road trip to CA! I would never have know about those without you! Thanks!
I look forward to your Target posts! I picked up the 12 foot pool today for $37 at our Target. I hid it so next Spring we can get it out for the kids!
Keep the posts coming. I love them! =)

Heather- I agree with skipping a toddler bed. My son was 1 1/2 when he started to climb out of his crib. We skipped the toddler bed and bought him a twin bed. He had a couple rough nights, but was great after 2 nights. I would say to get some fun bedding and make it a special place for her. And invest in a quality waterproof mattress pad! 🙂
We transitioned most of our kids into a twin bed at age 2 1/2. We never changed their beds to a bigger size, they all are still in twin beds (My kids are 7, 11, 14, 16, and 18).
Ladies (Christy, Amy T, & Gretchan)…THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU…for your responses! I peeked on over to see if anyone responded—three—oh happy day! 😉 I think with all the comments and realizing that the toddler bed is strickly a transitional thing, we are going to skip it all together. It’s cute, but really our daughter is long and lean and I didn’t even think about that she would probably outgrow it very soon, so thank you again for all your comments! Big bed weekend it is…Labor (what Daddy will be doing putting a new bed together!) haha! Have a good one!
