Here is the latest news I have on the Target Clearance for the Christmas, Toys and other departments:
Christmas
I have heard a few reports that stores have gone to 90% off today. The majority of the stores are still reporting 70% off though. The good news is that it looks like it will go to 90% off, so the rumors we were hearing of it only going to 70% off look like they are false. There is still a chance that your store may not go to 90% off if you selection is really small. I am hoping (fingers crosssed) that tomorrow will be the big day for those that didn’t go 90% off today.
Some things to look for:
- Scotch Tape with the price in the upper right hand corner (check the office supply aisle)
- Scotch Precision Scissors (scan them to see if they are lower)
- Holiday Ores (in regular food aisle)
- Lego Harry Potter bagged sets, not the Star Wars they are ringing up full price. (check by the checkout
Toys
I heard from so many people yesterday that said their toy department was being reorganized yesterday, which means they are making way for all of the new toys and they will want to clear out the older ones. I also know that several people did find some 70% off items mixed in with all the toys, so you will just need to check the prices on the stickers. It may be worth a trip today just to check. Reader Rachel posted on Facebook that she was able to buy $100 worth of toys for only $30.
I am still thinking the BIG day will happen next week or later.
Some things to look for:
- Matchbox Smokey the Fire Truck
- Fisher Price Little Mommy Dolls & Accessories

Other departments
Thursday is also the markdown day for shoes, and I heard from someone that said the shoes at their store already went to 70% off.
Don’t forget to also check the sporting goods department, their markdown is today too.
Please leave a comment letting us know what you found at your store. Please, leave you store location in the comment, it’s a big help to fellow Target lovers.

I was also able to get a match box mega shark ship that was orig $40 for only $12. They had at least 20 of the smokey the fire trucks at our store for only $17 and lots of the ships left too! Most of the little things were already gone though. I am going back tomorrow to see what else I can score.

I had one Orlando store at 90% CHristmas today and one at 70%. At the 70% store I decided to walk the toy clearance and came home with Thomas the Train take-n-play Rumbling Gold Mine Run was $43.49 but I paid $13.04. THe # is 204 03 3610. THere were several red shirts in the area and two were marking the clearance on the end caps but I didn’t expect a drop, I’ll be back in tomorrow. However, there is a poster on gottadeal who reported the big drop in her store today. THe other red shirts seemed to be setting new stock, it just didn’t have the same feel as the big toy markdowns of the past have had.

I stopped at mine last night, they were pushing all the Xmas stuff into 1 aisle, so I’m hoping I’ll see the 90% when I go today! My store still had a TON of Xmas stuff, toys not so much. BUT, I did get some Reindeer Webkinz for $1.24, Dove chocolate for $1, boxers for Hubby for $3, and Gifttags for $.30!

I stopped by two stores in the Princeton, NJ area this morning. Christmas was still at 70%, some women’s and kid’s clothes racks at 30%. Most toys were 30-50% off with a few already marked down to 70% – Pirates of the Caribbean action figures were 70% at both places. As I was walking out of the toy area at one store, I did stumble upon two Cars 2 Finn McMissile Zero Gravity R/C cars marked down 70% (originally $39.99, now $11.98). I hunted around to see if I could find anymore, but wasn’t successful. I’m pretty excited about these two Finn toys! They are perfect for upcoming birthday parties for my 5 year old son’s friends. I’m guessing our stores will have toys at 70% off by next week. Happy shopping everyone!

🙂 I went back to Univ. in Orlando and did find a Finn McMissile Zero Gravity R/C car for $11.98 also–I know they had more- didn’t realize they were air hogs were I would have picked up more. I also found the Cars 2 Monopoly at 70% reg. 15.09 but I got it for $4.52. It is really neat because lightening “drives” around the racetrack for monopoly. My dd age 4 want it but it will go in our toys for tots pile for next year. They had sevreal–# 087101966 and the # for Finn is 087050752. I also picked up the Cars 2 squinkies- they were coded as a stocking stuffer and rang up .49 It is a 4 pack of squinkies with a ramp. There were also Crazerasers coded as stocking stuffes so they are now 90% – one has rings and one has perfume bottles- they are pack with 4 in them and work for Easter baskets/party favors or even open them up and but them in eggs. I love 90% day 😉
