I can confirm that the toys went to 70% off at the Kent, WA location today. Both the employees and shoppers there were fabulous, it made for a wonderful shopping experience! I am getting lots of reports that stores have gone 70% off, you can check both the Thrifty and Thriving and All Things Target facebook pages for updates on specific stores (there are lots of them).
I am getting a few varying reports like:
- Several stores are reporting the markdown happened yesterday. (for those of you that are local, the South Hill Sunrise location went 70% off yesterday)
- Quite a few stores are reporting that just a few more items went to 70% off, but not the majority of the items.
- Still some stores say not a single thing is different.
Your store may or may not have everything condensed to one aisle or the endcaps, so remember to walk down the aisles and check the individual price tags.
I would love to hear what you are finding at your store, let us know! If you could, please tell us which location you shopped at in your comments. Thanks!

Spring Valley, NY had lots of great things marked down by 8:30am this morning. Can’t wait to hit the other Targets after work!!!
My store had Lego sets at 50% (which my husband and son LOVE Star Wars so I got one for $25), had lots of big boy toys on clearance which I noticed from last year’s pictures there was not much of that so I was pretty excited to see the older kid stuff on clearance at 70% off. Got a few items, a Hot Wheels car light set for $6.88, Star Wars puzzle, a couple Star Wars items for my husband for around $10 for both, a small Kenx transformers set for my son $3+change, a medium size transformer Knex set for $7.88, a couple Star Doll Barbie items for me at $4.48 each, and a couple other items for $91 for over $250 worth of toys! One pretty happy mama here in WA! I did notice there were quite a few smaller girls toys on clearance and also some larger sets too, but since I don’t have a small girl at home I did not really check them out too much.
The 2 Target stores in the Vancouver area are marking stuff down today! I got $136 worth of toys for $47 (that’s with tax)! Most isles say 30% off, but once you get looking, tons of toys are already marked down to 70% off. Happy shopping!
both Woodinville and Redmond Target has mostly marked 70% off. Not a lot to choose from at Woodinville. Redmond has more boy toys.
Clackamas had lots at 70% off
The target in Issaquah, WA had their toys at 70% off. They had lots of boys stuff, Transformer Optimus Prime helmets that say a bunch of different phrases for $6.58! Tons of bakugan stuff, some Disney Cars cars, a two pack for 2.63, some star wars guns for 3.62, some spy gear stuff, some Toy Story woody and Buzz guys for 5.38, some imaginext stuff, tons of the guitar stuff, the girls stuff was mostly smaller items, they did have American Girl dolls for around 10.00 though and several Baby Alive dolls that were normally 33.00 marked down to $9.88, also some My First Disney Princess dolls marked down to $7.48. Lots of great deals, lots of people though, things were going fast! I stocked up and got some awesome deals!
Emeryville, CA had lots of 70% off toys!!! I scored a Leapfrog Tag map and Solar System map! Not really any big signs, just went up and down the aisles and the pricetags were marked!
so this summer was definitely the WORST ive seen in years…basically all my targets in the area were already cleaned out. I always get there early and shop at around 3 stores and usually spend $300 or so..this time only about $100 and there was nothing left:( I am in the san diego CA area. Usually there are lots of Lego’s – only 1 box in 3 stores…bummer
Cascade station target in portland OR was marked down today.
I went to the Peoria, IL store yesterday and got $277 worth of toys for $91…a 67% savings! I got all of my Christmas shopping for my 4 children done, with the exception of their “big” gifts from Santa. There were several Lego sets and Mega Blocks sets. My favorite find was the Baby Alive doll marked down from $39.99 to $8.99. There was also a Cars 2 race track toy that I got for $9.98, originally $32.99. I’m glad I went early…toys were going fast!!
