If your store usually markds down toys on a Wednesday, it may be worth checking today. Sara the Savvy Shopper mentioned on her site that the toys went down to 70% off at her store today (Shawnee Mission Pkwy/Metcalf). She mentioned that all of the Lego’s were only at 50% off. She also mentioned that the toys were already marked down when she got there. I love that!
So, let’s hear what you are finding at your stores. I am guessing tomorrow is when we will see the majority of the stores do the markdown. I can’t wait to see what everybody scores!! Have fun!
The toys were not marked down today in Winston Salem, NC. I got there when they opened. I was hoping for today since my hubby has off and can watch the kiddos. Can’t wait to see everyone’s finds! FYI They had some lego & Mario suitcases 70% off in the luggage area. =)
in Charlotte they were not marked down yesterday and had very few on “sale” at all.. just a few end caps.
I live in North Alabama and I heard a worker say yesterday (Tuesday) in the toy department that they had to have all of that stuff cleaned up and put up by Thursday, so I think they will mark down then.
I am near the Glen Burnie, MD Target and just went a bit ago to check, and they are all at 50% off. Going back on Friday to recheck the situation!
@Katie The normal markdown day for the toys is Thursday, so if you can get there tomorrow that would probably be best. The majority of the clearance toys my be gone on Friday.

I was at one in WJ UTtah today just after they opened and most everything was still at 50%. My friend went to the one at Jordan Landing in WJ as well today and nothing was marked down either. I, however, bought several things at the 50% off at the store I visited since I hadn’t seen any of the Littlest Pet Shop or Hello Kitty megablocks (they fit w/regular Legos) at the other 3 Target’s that I’d been to and I know stuff like that would get snatched up probably before I can get there tomorrow. This year the selections don’t seem to be very good and lots of the things are for younger kids than I’d need to buy for these days. Sort of disappointing. I was at a Target @ The District yesterday and they did have many princess kitchens already 70% off so they were like $48 instead of $150ish. But then again, outside Utah it seems there is a lot more to choose from whenever things get put on clearance. Oh well!
Does anyone know if there is much toy selection at the Bonneylake or Kent WA Target stores? I’m trying to decide which one to go to.
@Kristin I haven’t been to Bonney Lake in awhile, so I don’t know what the selection looks like there.
