Do you love to use those self checkout machines at the grocery store? I do! There usually isn’t a line, and it is easy for me to keep an eye on the prices to make sure everything gets rung up correctly. Plus, I can bag my groceries, I hate coming home with squished fruit. Another reason I love to use the self checkout is because some people have no interest in coupons, and the leave the Catalina coupons in the printer. ACK! Can you believe that? That’s where I benefit. When I am checking out, I look to see if any of the registers have any leftover Catalina coupons hanging down and I choose that machine. I have been able to get a free bottle of Sobe’, a free package of Depends (OK, didn’t really need that one, so I stuck it in the coupon basket at Fred Meyer) and lots more. Today I scored a $2.00 off your purchase Catalina that somebody didn’t want. Who doesn’t want to save $2.00 on their next visit. Crazy people that’s who! So, next time you use the self checkout, look for any leftover Catalina’s that you can score. I know I can’t be the only person that does this, anybody else?
