Daylight Savings Time happens this weekend on Sunday, March 10th. Thank goodness – I am thrilled! I feel like I can get so much more accomplished with that extra hour of daylight.
Besides moving our clocks forward, it also important to change out the batteries in your smoke alarms. If you get in the habit of changing them out every time you change your clocks you will be sure that they are always in working order.
The job of changing batteries in the smoke alarms at our house falls on the teenage boys, mainly because they are taller than me and they can reach the smoke alarms easily. Isn’t that what teenagers are for…all the job you don’t want to do? I also make them change out light bulbs that have burnt out too.
So, when you head to the store this weekend, don’t forget to pick up some Rayovac 9V batteries so you can make sure your smoke detectors are in working order. You can also purchase your 9V and other size Rayovac batteries at Rayovac.com.
