These Quick and Easy Cannolis make a yummy treat the whole family can enjoy!
Ingredients
Shell:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 TBSP melted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
Filling:
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- pastry bag
Instructions
- Start by making batter for shells, whisk flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together
- Add melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla
- Scoop a heaping tablespoon of batter into Pizzelle Maker and cook until golden brown
- When each pizzelle is done, gently curl up to make a shape of a cannoli and hold into place for 30 seconds or until set and is will hold it’s shape on it’s own
- With mixer, blend ricotta cheese, powder sugar, and vanilla, set aside
- With another mixing bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form, fold into batter
- Add to pastry bag and chill for 1 hour
- Pipe chilled filling into cannoli shells and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips at the end of cannoli
