These Protein Packed Breakfast Cookies are filled with healthy goodness and a great way to kickstart your day!
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter or almond butter
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1 TBSP honey
- 1 cup whole grain oats
- 2 TBSP flax seed
- 2/3 cup wild roots trail mix
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup almond flour
Instructions
- In mixing bowl, add butter and whip
- Mix in honey, banana, and apple sauce
- Add vanilla, flax seed, oats, baking soda, almond flour, and cinnamon
- Continue to mix until combined
- Stir in Trail Mix
- Roll into 1/4 cup balls and place in freezer for at least 1 hour
- Bake at 375 for 7 minutes
- Remove from the oven using a spatula and press down on baked cookie to flatten.
- Continue to bake for 5-7 more minutes or until gold brown
- Allow to completely cool before removing from baking sheet
