Description

These Protein Packed Breakfast Cookies are filled with healthy goodness and a great way to kickstart your day!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter or almond butter
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup apple sauce
  • 1 TBSP honey
  • 1 cup whole grain oats
  • 2 TBSP flax seed
  • 2/3 cup wild roots trail mix
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond flour


Instructions

  1. In mixing bowl, add butter and whip
  2. Mix in honey, banana, and apple sauce
  3. Add vanilla, flax seed, oats, baking soda, almond flour, and cinnamon
  4. Continue to mix until combined
  5. Stir in Trail Mix
  6. Roll into 1/4 cup balls and place in freezer for at least 1 hour
  7. Bake at 375 for 7 minutes
  8. Remove from the oven using a spatula and press down on baked cookie to flatten.
  9. Continue to bake for 5-7 more minutes or until gold brown
  10. Allow to completely cool before removing from baking sheet
