These Oreo Love Bugs are super cute, easy to make and would make a fun treat for Valentine’s Day!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bag of Wilton candy melts (red)
- 1 bag of Oreo cookies
- pack of small/medium candy eye’s
- Valentine’s sprinkles
Optional: Wilton Candy Melting Pot
Instructions
- First, melt your Wilton red candy melts. I recommend using a Wilton Candy Melting Pot. If you don’t have a candy melting pot, microwave the candy melts in 30 second intervals in the microwave, make sure to stir after every 30 seconds. Cook until all is melted and smooth.
- Dip each Oreo covering a little more than half of the cookie with the red candy melts. After each individual cookie dip, add heart shaped sprinkles.
- Set aside and let them set on wax paper.
- To add the eyes, just add a dab of the candy melt and secure onto the Oreo.
