One year ago today, I had just recently started this blog, and now I am amazed how many people are reading it. I really just started out thinking it would be a great place for my family and friends to read about all the deals, so I didn’t have to call and email all of them individually. I am thrilled that you all are here! I love hearing about your savings stories and the deals you find. I also appreciate the time you take to send some deals my way.
Here are some of my favorites of 2009:
1. My all time favorite post has to be THIS one from my husband. So many people could relate! My husband actually emailed Crystal from Money Saving Mom (without me knowing) and shared the post with her, she put a link on her site and my traffic that day went through the roof. That was a fun day!
2. I loved THIS week. It’s amazing how little you can spend when you invest a some time, clip some coupons, and plan your trips.
3. The Target Clearance sales are always some of my favorites every year. THIS one was great, because my husband actually shopped the sale for the first time EVER, and found some great deals. Getting the Leap Frog Tag Readers for only $2.48 was definitely a highlight for me. Plus, HERE are my finds from the end of summer clearance. I LOVE TARGET! I can’t wait for the 75% of toy clearance in a couple of weeks.
4. The results from my Ebay sales were a BIG help for Christmas this year. If you start now picking up things through the year, at the end of the year you can sell those items and have some cash to use for Christmas.
