One of the best things about visiting a Disney Park is all of the yummy specialty treats! For some reason, treats shaped like Mickey Mouse are some how even more magical and delicious. One of the treats we enjoyed on our most recent trip to Disneyland were the Mickey Beignets. Have you tried them yet?
These cute little morsels are deep fried, donut like goodness that are sprinkled drenched with powdered sugar. Yes, they are as good as they sound!
If you order the Beignets at Cafe Orleans, they will also come with a side of dipping sauces (Raspberry Coulis and Vanilla Creme Anglaise).
We were able to enjoy our beignets while being entertained by the swingin’ sounds of the Royal Street Bachelors, a talented jazz band that has been making music in New Orleans Square ever since the land first opened in 1966. To catch these cool cats, make sure to check the Times Guide for show times – they perform 15-minute sets throughout the day.
Where to get Mickey Beignets:
Disneyland
Mint Julep Bar (walk up window within the Garden Patio of French Market Restaurant)
Cafe Orleans (New Orleans Square)
