I had a very trying day today! Let’s just say it involved the following:
- Me locking my keys in my car
- Me missing a meeting I had at 11:30
- Dallin and I waiting at the mall for 3 hours until my husband could come
- Husband finally getting to the mall
- Husband finally finding a hanger and trying to get into the car
- Me finding keys in a small compartment in my purse (while husband is trying to break in)
- Me feeling like a total dork
- Me wishing I didn’t waste 1/2 my day for no reason
- Me apologizing to my very understanding husband
All of this reminds me of the day I locked my keys in the car while the car was running when I returned a video, this is what happened that day:
- Jumped out of my car to return a movie (left it running)
- Went back to car, door was locked!
- Went into movie store & asked if I could borrow their phone
- Called my husband, told him I needed his key for the van (he was 1 1/2 hours away)
- I Walked 20 mins. to a friends house in 90 degree weather (I don’t like heat!)
- Had friend help me find something to break into the car
- She piled all her kids in her car & drove me back to my car
- We work on trying to get the door unlocked
- She says to me “doesn’t the passenger side door look unlocked?”
- I say “yes”, and then go over and open the door
- I apologize for wasting my friends time
- I call my husband, tell him I don’t need his keys anymore.
- I feel like a dork.
Sorry I wasn’t around for all the Target excitement. I was able to find some things, the one item I was most happy about was the Our Generation doll kitchen that my daughter will love to go with her American Girl dolls. Plus, I had an AMAZING day at Old Navy. I will share the details shortly!
