Nothing says fall like great tasting hot apple cider! This recipe adds the amazing taste of caramel and cider using your slow cooker. I absolutely LOVE this combination. It’s a wonderful drink for those crisp fall evenings! Kind of makes me want to curl up by the fire with a good book.
Hot Caramel Apple Cider:
- 1 Gallon Cider or apple juice
- Mulling Spice
- 12 Caramels (melted) or 1/3 cup caramel sauce
- Spice Ball Tea Infuser
- Whipped cream
Add cider to your slow cooker.
Add 2 tablespoons of mulling spices in an infuser ball, and add to apple cider.
Add carmel sauce or melted caramels and mix well. Cook on high in slow cooker for 1-2 hours. You will love how it makes your house smell!
Once its finished add to mugs and top off with whip cream and caramel sauce. Recipe makes 8 servings. Enjoy!
