I had the opportunity to review the new album by Harry Connick Jr. – Your Songs, thanks to the One2One Network. Plus, I have the opportunity to give a copy of the new CD away to one of my readers.
I was pleasantly surprised by this CD, I think the fun part is that I already new most of the songs, I guess that is why is is titled “Your Songs”. I was able to sing along right from the start, which is always one of my favorite things, I love to sing, I just don’t sound that great. The good news is that Harry Connick Jr. sounds great! This isn’t an album I would listen to everyday, I think it’s the kind of album you need to be in the mood for, but it was definitely enjoyable. My favorite song was “Your Song”, I really enjoyed his version of the song. I could listen to that one over and over. I also shared the album with my Dad, and he absolutely loved it. He thought the album included lots of the classics and he enjoyed Harry Connick Jr’s renditions.
