Green Giant has a very giant surpise…they now make veggie chips!

I had the chance to try out these new chips in the following flavors:

Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips (Sea Salt) – These are so much lighter (and a lot less greasier) than regular potato chips. They have a very light salt flavor and I really like them. These chips would be perfect for a nice dips. I was surprised how much I and my kids like these. I was a little concerned that a couple of my more picky kids would turn up their nose at the word sweet potato, but they didn’t. They loved them too!

Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips (Zesty Cheddar) – OOH! These were really good too. They have a very nice flavor, with a little bit of kick to it. My teenagers finished off the bag in no time. These really were a big hit at our house.

These are a snack you can feel good about eating, they have less fat than regular potato chips and up to 17 g of whole grain. I have no doubt I will be picking up a few more bags of these next time I head to the grocery store. Plus, they folks at Green Giant were even nice enough to offer up a $ .85/1 printable coupon for their new veggie chips. You know how I like to save money!
