My youngest son and I headed to the mall today to check out the deals, get some big pretzels and play on the kids toy. We came home with some super deals.
First, we headed to JCPenney, because they were taking an additional 50% off the clearance. I had a $10 Rewards coupon I need to use (it was expiring today!). I found some jeans for my son and a sweatshirt for my daughter’s birthday. After the discount and coupons, I paid $2.48 for each item. The jeans were normally $36 and the sweatshirt was $29.99. That’s over 90% savings. Woo Hoo!

Oh my goodness, I am so excited about these sweatshirts I picked up at Hollister for my teen boys. I mentioned earlier this week that they are taking 50% off all redline (clearance) merchandise. I found these sweatshirts marked down to $19.90. so with the 50% off they were only $9.95. The regular retail was $49.50. I got items at 80% off at Hollister!! Can you tell I am excited? I was happy to find their size, usually I can only find smalls and mediums in the clearance section. My boys are tall (6 ft), so they need the larger size.January really is one of the best times to buy clothes, there are so many great clearance deals around.
