This week’s food storage item is a staple we all can use – flour. If you go to Albertson’s and do their Spend $25/Get $10 deal, you can stock up on flour. Here is what you would do:
Buy 13 5 lb bags Flour @ 2.00 = 26.00
Get $10.00 back to spend like cash
Final Price = 16.00 after coupon
or if you are like me and have to get the MOST for your money and spend exactly $25, you can do it this way.
Buy 12 bags of Flour @ 2.00 = 24.00
Buy 1 Betty Crocker original brownie mix = 1.00
Total = $25.00
Get $10.00 back to spend like cash
Final Price = 15.00
When you factor in the coupon, that is like getting 40% off. That works out to .24 cents a lb.
If you want to buy even more, you can use the $10.00 coupon you earned on so more flour, and as long as you spend $25 you will earn another $10.00 off coupon.
If you aren’t interested in that much flour, or can’t buy that much at this time, you can use the coupon in the ad for $1.49 for a 5 lb bag of flour (limit 2). That works out to be .30 cents a lb.
