What to Expect at Costco (September 2023)

Here is a peek at some of the new items and savings you can find at Costco for September. I found a ton of new items for Christmas and toys are starting to make an appearance too. Costco is definitely prepping for the upcoming holidays. A new Costco coupon book was released and the coupon savings are valid through September 24th. Keep in mind that Costco prices may vary a little by region.

Here are a couple of Costco tips for you: If an item ends in 7, it is Costco’s version of a clearance item. Also, if you notice an asterisk in the top right hand corner of the sign with the price, that means it is a seasonal item and will not be stocked again (it may come back next year, but it won’t be re-stocked after the current supply is depleted).

New Items

It’s not even September and Costco is filled with Christmas merchandise, and I’m not really mad about it. This Holiday Lamp Post with LED Lights is priced at $99.99.

There are some cool light up decor like these Candy Cane LED Pathway Lights for $44.99 and the set of 3 LED Star Lights for $79.99.

This Gingerbread House with lights and music is priced at $99.99, which seems kind of steep to me. Honestly, I think a lot of the holiday merchandise seems to be at the higher end for Costco prices.

Get a hand painted version of The Grinch for $49.99.

This Peanuts Snoopy and Woodstock Holiday Tree with lights totally puts a smile on my face, it’s so cute and priced at $49.99 (which isn’t as cute).

This 10 piece Ceramic Holiday Village is really pretty and priced at $79.99, which might sound like a lot, but it makes each piece only $7.99 which I don’t think is all that bad.

If you are a Disney fan there are a TON of Disney items this year. This Disney Holiday Animated Tree is $99.99.

This cute Disney Holiday Lantern is priced at $49.99.

The Disney Holiday Train has lights and music and is priced at $99.99.

The 13-piece Disney Holiday Village set is $129.99.

I actually think this is a super deal! Get a 40-pack of Hallmark holiday cards for $12.99. They have Disney version as well as a couple other holiday designs.

Get a 32 Degrees Ladies Down Jacket for $24.99, they come in quite a few color options!

Another women’s jacket option is this Banana Republic Bomber Jacket for $24.99, there were 3 color options.

There are new jackets for men too, this Nautica Men’s Mix Media Jacket is $24.99.

Get ready for the fall and winter weather with these Chooka Boots priced at $26.99.

The super soft Kirkland Signature Slippers are priced at $22.99.

This Acacia Grazing Board is absolutely stunning and very large. It think it’s easily worth the $19.99 price. It’s a great option to make charcuterie boards for the holidays.

Get the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer with 5 attachments and a display stand for $429.99. This price is so crazy to me, but apparently people love it. Do you own one? Is it worth the hype?

The Peter Thomas Roth Firm x Eye Cream is priced at $35.99. This retails for $68 so it is priced great at Costco.

LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian or Marvel Endgame sets are priced $79.99. If you are buying LEGOs for Christmas gifts, Costco is a great option, they seem to get more and more sets each year.

A few other new LEGO sets I spotted were the LEGO City Car Garage or LEGO Friends Horse Stable for $44.99.

Bluey fans! Get Bluey’s Ultimate Mega Set for $54.99.

The Squishmallows Jewelry Design Set is $29.99.

Create a Treat Halloween Haunted House Kit is $13.99.

Yum! Ritter Sport Mini Chocolate Bars assortment is $12.89.

OK, I”m intrigued! I haven’t ever seen this before, get m&m’s Chocolate Bark for $9.89.

Pirate Booty Cheddar Blast is $6.99 and comes with more cheese.

Bumpin Blends Peanut Butter Cups Smoothie Cubes are found in the frozen section and priced at $14.49. I wonder if they are as good as they sound?

My teenage son would go nuts for these, The Gen Bake Churro Donut Bites are $6.99.

Interesting new item in the bakery that I’m not all all excited about, but maybe you are…Green Chile Cornbread for $6.99.

Monthly Savings

A couple of my adult children own this blender and they love it. You can save a whopping $20 and get the Ninja Professional Blender with Auto IQ for $49.99 (reg $69.99).

Easy dinner idea! Pick up the Realgood Foods Creamy Poblano Chicken Enchiladas for $9.49 (reg $13.99). Save $4.50.

Yum! Loacker Minis Cream Filled Wafers are on sale for $7.99 (reg $11.79). Save $3.80.

You can also find pretty big savings on the Country Archer Grass-fed Beef Sticks Minis, save $4.30 and get them for $12.49 (reg $16.79).
