There was an article in my newspaper abouth a month ago that highlighted the toys that are thought to be the “hot toys” of this 2010 holiday season. I am listing the retail price, so you have an idea of what the regular prices should be. Make sure you watch for sales on these items, you don’t want to have to pay a CRAZY HIGH price.
Disney Princess & Me 18 inch Doll Set by JAAKS Pacific (retail 49.99)
Hot Wheels R/C Stealth Rides Racing Car by Mattel (retail 24.99)
Loopz Game by Mattel (retail 29.99)
Scrabble Flash Game by Hasbro (retail 29.99)
Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS by Hasbro (retail 49.99)
Paper Jamz Guitar by Wow Wee (retail 24.99)
Fisher-Price The Sing-A-Ma-Jigs (retail 12.99)
Tonka Chuck’s Stunt Park (retail 39.99)
Zoobles (Dog and Turtle) (prices vary on size 4.99 singles 9.99 doubles)
V.Reader Animated E-Book System (retail 59.99)
LeapFrog Leapster Explorer Learning Game System (Green) (retail 69.99)
We tried of the Loopz game on display at Toys R Us, and it is was lots of fun. Plus, Nerf guns have always been a big hit at our house. So, what are your thoughts on this list? Any toys you see getting your kids for Christmas?
The following list was found in the Tacoma News Tribune by the Associated Press on 9/29/10.

I have a toddler and I see a couple that would be good for him but could you suggest some toys in his age group that might make good gifts? He will be 18 months on Nov 9th

Shelby when looking for toys for a certain age I like to checkout the Manhattan Toys site. They have great quality toys, take a look at the Toddler/Preschool section. In each toy description they list an age. One example, The Dress Up Pirate is 18+. https://www.manhattantoy.com/product/375675/206440/_/Dress_Up_Pirate

i bought my son the tonka chuck’s stunt park. i priced matched it at target using a toys r us ad that had it priced at $29.99, used the $10/1 coupon from the playsaver insert and a Target coupon for $5 off any Tonka Chuck purchase of $25 or more. That brought the total down to $14.99.
