Description
Put a new spin on homemade ice cream and give this Chocolate Chip Cherry ice cream a try!
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup cherries chopped
- 1/2 roughly chopped dark chocolate or mini semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine cream, milk, sugar, extract, to bowl and whisk until combined.
- Add ingredients to ice cream maker. Mix for 20 minutes until it doubles in size. Gently stir in cherries. and chocolate.
- Put in the freezer for at least 1 hour to allow the ice cream to firm up.
