I made some fun holiday gift packaging out of TP rolls. My plan is to put some holiday candy on the inside so they can be passed out at Christmas time. They would also make a creative way to wrap small gifts, like jewelry. My daughter wants to put fingernail polish in them and hand them out to her friends. So many different things you can put inside!
Making them is super easy, and pretty cheap too! This idea came from MarthaStewart.com. That Martha is one crafty lady!
The items needed to make the packaging are as follows:
- Empty TP Rolls
- Candy Striped wrapping paper
- Cellophane
- Ribbon or String
- Tape
- + whatever you plan to put on the inside
Just cut the wrapping paper to match the TP roll and tape it on. Fill the inside with whatever you want candy, small gift, money, etc.
Lastly, you wrap the roll with cellophane, make sure you leave enough room on the ends to tie up each side. Super easy!

That’s cool! I’ll definitely make some of these and I agree that Martha is crafty. Love her.
