Grilling burgers outdoors seems to be a staple of summer. Sometimes though I want something a little lighter and fresher than a burger and these Bruschetta Turkey Burgers totally fit the bill.
Bruschetta Turkey Burgers:
- 1 lbĀ ground turkey
- 3 TBSP balsamic vinegar
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 TBSP Italian seasoning
- ciabatta rolls
Topping:
- 4 slices of fresh mozzarella
- 4 slice of tomato
- chopped fresh basil
- splash with balsamic and oil
- Salt and pepper

In bowl, mix together ground turkey, vinegar, oil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Ā Form four patties. Ā Grill on BBQ for 5 minutes per side (or until done).

Add Slice of mozzarella and tomato to each patty. Ā And cut ciabatta roll in half and place on the grill. Ā Allow the cheese to melt and the bun to become toasty.
Add fresh basil, and splash of with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Ā Finish off with a bit of salt and pepper. Ā Enjoy!
