Description
This Brie and Apple Stuffed Chicken is an impressive meal that’s surprisingly easy to make!
Ingredients
- 2 full chicken breasts
- 1 granny smith apple, thinly sliced
- 1 wedge of Brie, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For Glaze:
- 2 TBSP maple syrup
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1 garlic glove, minced
Instructions
Whisk all the glaze ingredients together and set aside
To make stuffed Chicken:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Lay the chicken breast flat on a cutting board and cut a slit into each one; about 3/4 of the way through
Season both sides with salt and pepper
In a frying pan with a bit of olive oil, add the chicken breast and sear for 2-3 minutes per side
Remove the chicken and stuff them with sliced apples and brie
Placed the stuffed chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush each breast with the glaze
Bake for 20-22, or until the chicken is cooked all the way though (Internal temp of 165)
