It is time for another Target 75% off update. The school backpacks were marked down to 75% off at a Target near me (Issaquah). I also understand that several East Coast Target’s also have their school supplies marked 75% off. Ours are only 30% off here.
Don’t need a backpack right now? I always buy my kids backpacks ahead of time, so when one wears out, we don’t have to replace it at full price. My son Dallin will be starting kindergarten next year, so I let him pick out his backpack out too. With the exception of Kindergarten, when they can pick out any back pack they want, I make sure to get a quality backpack that will last several years. When we buy at 75% off we are able to buy some of the higher end backpacks.
Here are a few other ideas to think about when looking at the backpacks
1. Character backpacks would make a great Christmas gift. If you know someone that loves High School Musical, you can pick one up for $3.74, and fill it with fun High School Musical notebooks, pens, pencils, etc (you can probably even find these in the school section on clearance too).
2. If you need to get your families 72 Hour kits together, you can pick up some backpacks for those.
3. They also have some “non” backpack bags, that would also make great gifts.
