Snickers Popcorn

My family loves the taste of Snickers candy bars.   I can’t think of a better combination then popcorn and the yummy taste of gooey caramel, peanuts and chocolate.  This would make a tasty treat for your next movie night..

Snickers Popcorn Ingredients:

• 1 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 Tablespoon butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 package of chocolate candy chips (you can use cups 1 1/2 of chocolate chips)
• 10 Fun Size Snickers cut into small pieces

In a large sauce pan add oil, butter, salt, and popcorn kernels.  Pop popcorn on med-high heat.  When popcorn is nearly done popping.  Turn off heat.

While you are waiting for popcorn to pop.  Cut Snickers into small bite-size pieces, and set aside.

In a large bowl add the popped popcorn.  The bigger the bowl the better, you will need lots of room to work the chocolate onto the popcorn.

Heat up the chocolate in microwave until it is all melted and very warm.  Add the chocolate to popcorn and toss until all popcorn is coated nicely.

Your last step is to add the Snickers pieces and toss all together.  Let sit for at least a minute and let the heat of the chocolate meld all the ingredients together.
