This coming Thursday (5/20) you can get FREE admission into the Museum of Glass in Tacoma from 5 – 8 pm. If you can’t make it this Thurdsay, you can visit the museum for FREE on the third Thursday of any month from 5 – 8pm.
Regular admission prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, military and students, and $5 for children (6 -12). Children under 12 are FREE. By visiting the museum on the FREE night, our family of 7 saves $59. That is some big savings!
You can also get FREE admission to two other Tacoma museums on the third Thursday of every month.
Washington State History Museum – Get FREE admission on the Third Thursday of each month from 2-8 PM.
Tacoma Art Museum – They offer FREE admission the third Thursday of every month 10 AM -8 PM
The Children’s museum will be FREE to attend on the first Friday of every month.
Children’s Museum of Tacoma – Attend the First Friday of every month for FREE Admission for families. You can also check out a Play Pass at Tacoma and Pierce County Libraries. Each Play Pass is valid for 4 free admissions.
Many museums have a FREE admission day. I would recommend checking your local museum website to see of they have a day that FREE admission is offered.

Very cool! I will have to remember this when planning our summer trip to the Seattle/Tacoma area.
Oh, and the Portland Children’s Museum is free the first Friday night of the month too. 🙂
