OK, here are the first entries into my spending notebook for the month of March. I was challenged to track all of my expenses for a month. You can read more about it in this post HERE. I am aware that this photo is sideways, but no matter how many times I rotated it, it always turned out like this. So, I am leaving it, because I don’t have anymore item to spend on it. If you tilt your head to the right, you can see I have spent $2.01 on groceries, and $7.70 on clothing so far.

Here is a photo of my $2.01 trip to Albertson’s. I was able to use $13.50 of “on your next trip” coupons that I had earned. I of course shopped the sales, used coupons, and had competitors coupons, so I was able to bring the total down a lot. The regular retail price of everything here would have been around $50.
My clothing expenses were done in 2 transactions, because I had 2 $10 off JCPenney coupons. I know I have mentioned this before, but I love those coupons! The coupons were only valid at a certain store that had newly opened, so they did not have a ton of clearance. I did find the pants for Dallin and the Husky sweatshirt for Levi. The regular retail price for both would have been $61.99, and I got both for $7 + tax. The regular retail price on the toddler pants was $26.99, is it just me, or is that crazy!
